Paid Ads Hackers
A private community of 93 paid ads professionals sharing what actually works.
What is Paid Ads Hackers?
A private WhatsApp community of paid ads professionals sharing insights, strategies, and real results across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms. Founded by Robin Choy. Members range from solo freelancers to heads of growth at venture-backed startups, agency founders, and marketing leaders managing millions in annual ad spend.
How do I join?
The community is invite-only. If you know a current member, ask them to recommend you. You must post an introduction in the General group describing who you are and what you work on. Members who don't introduce themselves will be removed.
How are the sub-groups organized?
B2B40 members
SaaS, lead gen, LinkedIn Ads, enterprise, demand gen
Apps36 members
Mobile apps, ASO, TikTok Shop, App Store, Play Store
Agencies32 members
Media buyers, freelancers, fractional roles
E-Commerce29 members
D2C, Shopify, Amazon, CPG, retail
Everyone starts in General & Introductions. You can request to join any sub-group that fits your work. The Agencies & Consultants group has stricter requirements.
Should we create more sub-groups (AI, per channel, etc.)?
This was discussed early on. The consensus is to keep groups consolidated for now to avoid scattering conversations while the community is still growing. As one member put it: "Let's keep all wisdom collected in one group." More sub-groups may make sense as the community scales.
Can I share my tool/product/service?
Only if it's genuinely relevant to an ongoing conversation and you disclose your affiliation. No cold DMs to members for sales. If you're building something useful for the community, bring it up naturally.
What are the rules?
Be helpful, share real insights, no spam or self-promotion without context. This is a practitioners' community. Share what's working, what's not, and be specific with numbers when you can. Introduce yourself when you join or you'll be removed.
Is there a searchable archive of past conversations?
This page is a first step. The "What are people talking about?" tab summarizes key discussions each week. One of the limits of WhatsApp as a community platform is poor searchability, so this page fills that gap.
